Process
How does a project begin?
It starts with an enquiry through the contact form or by phone. The property is then inspected on site, and goals, constraints and expectations are collected in a written survey note.
How long does a project take?
Duration depends on the size of the property, the scope and permit processes. After the survey we present a realistic programme together with its assumptions.
Do you handle design and construction together?
Yes, in the turnkey model we run both together. You can also engage us for design only, or for project management only.
Who handles permits and approvals?
Required applications and coordination are handled within the project. For buildings that need additional approval, such as conservation boards, the process is planned in advance.
Scope & Budget
How is the budget set?
After the survey, scope and material class are set and a measured cost plan is prepared. Changes are presented with price and schedule impact before they are executed.
Do you take on smaller works?
We decide after assessing scope and scale. When it is not a fit, we say so at the outset.
Can I engage you for project management only?
Yes. We can provide independent budget, schedule and quality management for projects designed by other teams.
